Brief history of the Gea Perona Group
1926 / The Gea Perona firm is founded
The Francisco GEA PERONA firm was established in Spain in 1926, first as a fuel importer and then as a company dedicated to the transport of dangerous goods by road.
1960 / Collaboration agreement with Campsa
In 1960, a long collaboration with Campsa began as exclusive carrier and distributor in the provinces of Albacete, Alicante, Almería, Granada, Jaén and Murcia.
1984 / Naftran is established
To serve the emerging market for the transportation of dangerous goods by road, the naftrán company was established, dedicated to the road transportation of food, chemical and LNG products.
1994 / The alliance with Repsol is renewed and strengthened
In 1994 Campsa became Repsol. At this time we strengthened our alliance with the Spanish multinational, renewing and extending our collaboration agreements.
2006 / Cringás joins the Gea Perona Group
In 2006, Naftrán acquired the company Cringás S.L., whose vocation is engineering for cryogenics and Natural Gas, as well as the construction of satellite LNG plants.
2018 / The transformation of the Gea Perona Group begins
We redesign our Mission, Vision and Values. We focus on renewable energies with the aim of aligning ourselves with international decarbonization strategies. We transform management processes in search of excellence. We align our organizational structure to this new phase of the Group.
2020 / We created Hydrona
Hidrona was born from our commitment to providing comprehensive access to hydrogen as a non-polluting energy vector, through technological innovation in engineering and transportation.
2022 / Cringás expands its mission through Cringás Bio
Cringás Bio was born with the objective of meeting the needs of our clients, taking advantage of synergies with Cringás and Naftrán, thus participating in the engineering of structures for the use of Biomethane as well as in its transportation.
2023 / Hynólogy is founded
Hynology, a marketer of LNG, bioLNG and Guarantees of Origin, was created with the main objective of providing energy to our customers, improving cost-effectiveness.
2023 / We achieve the highest standards in HSEQ
During 2023, the Gea Perona Group manages to renew and implement new ISO Standards: Naftrán: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 39001, 50001. Cringas: ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018, 50001:2018. Hydrona: ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018Naftran has also managed to comply with the SQAS requirements in the Transport Services module.
